Endoscopic Brow Lifts

By removing and releasing tissue, this procedure smoothes wrinkles, corrects drooping brow and heavy eyelids in the upper forehead and brow area of the face. Brow lifts can be performed separately or during other cosmetic procedures, such as a facelift.

A brow lift is performed as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia for maximum patient comfort. The surgeon makes three small incisions hidden in the patient's hairline across the scalp and between the ears. Adjustments are then made to the muscle and tissue.

Patients will experience very little discomfort following a brow lift. Some swelling and bruising may last for several days and itching and small areas of numbness are not uncommon. These symptoms diminish gradually over several weeks. Strenuous activity should be avoided for four to six weeks after the procedure.
